Rewatching the episode “Parasitica” and like, that stinger is a straight up dagger, and fully submerged into Leo’s arm. Donnie pulls the stupid thing and and just keeps going.

And, sure, it’s swollen, but lawd he should be bleeding profusely at best. More so it should be stuck all the way through his arm and difficult AF for Donnie to get out because it’s has a BARB AT THE END OF THE STINGER.

Look- I know the boy goes through other horrors with this episode, but he walks the sting off like the wasp is normal size and not a semi truck.

Thinking about the biologically actual Parasitica again.

So, fun fact: the wasps in Parasitica are not accurate to real parasitic wasps. This is because the real ones are not TV-Y7 approved.

Parasitoids are parasites that deposit their eggs into their hosts, allowing them to be safe from external threats and giving them a tasty snack when they hatch.

I guess this idea was kinda done in Invasion of the Squirrelanoids (with far less host death), but there's a cool fan fiction idea in here somewhere.
